Welcome to Rotary Music and Motion
A Fall Festival Weekend at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park hosted by the Calgary area Rotary Clubs and Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation. Three exciting events, two beautiful days, one unparalleled location. Rotary Music and Motion offers the opportunity to experience and support the Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park and Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation via 3 distinct fundraising events.
Run at the Ranch
Beginner or a seasoned, walker or runner, all are welcome to experience this inaugural event. Taking place on a mixture of paved and gravel pathways, the rolling terrain and expansive views are sure to challenge the body and impress the senses. With three distances to choose from there is something for everyone. 5k Fun Run and Walk, 10k and Half Marathon.

Cost: 5km Run & Walk $35; 10km Run $45; Half Marathon $75
Includes: T-Shirt, fully stocked aid stations, prizes for top 3 in each age category.

Use the Provided Shuttle Buses
There is NO ONSITE PARKING for this event. Please use the shuttle system provided from either of two convenient locations: Crowfoot LRT Station in Calgary and Cochrane High School (click here for more info). If you attempt to drive into the park you will be turned away. Busses start at 11 AM and run throughout the event. Friends and family should also use the shuttle system.
Please No Dogs
Due to wildlife, environmental considerations and space limitations, dogs are not permitted for this run.
Non Smoking Event
We are pleased to offer a non-smoking environment for the comfort and safety of all guests.
Weather and Back Up Venue
This is an outdoor event, please come prepared for all weather conditions. Trails used for the event have a hardened surface and will be suitable for running in all conditions.
Bag Check
If you wish to bring additional clothing or personal items, a bag check will be available at the start line.
